All wind and percussion students study privately with Loyola University faculty, who are selected from the finest musicians New Orleans has to offer and are extremely active performers and educators in local, national, and international venues. Students also meet as a studio in a series of masterclasses aimed at addressing literature and performing techniques unique to their instruments.
Rigorous and comprehensive study, individual attention from faculty, and real-world opportunities for performance and internships within the unique and vibrant musical culture of New Orleans are hallmarks of the Loyola School of Music.
