Scares were in the air as students celebrated Halloween in the first ever “Monster Mash” event hosted by the School of Communication and Design. The event was filled with festivities such as pumpkin carving, pie eating contests and apple bobbing among others. Students and faculty members enjoyed delicious food, danced to great tunes and enjoyed a special afternoon surely like no other.
The halls of Loyola’s second floor were reborn as the school dedicated a band room to New Orleans iconic trumpet player Connie Jones and wife Elaine Jones. The newly decorated floor gives students the chance to walk along history birthed right in the heart of our city through information, images and facts about the Jones family.
