Tiny Den Series launches with a Bang!

The monthly series prodcued by student run group,  Howl Entertainment, will be an homage to the incredibly successful NPR Tiny Desk program,  Produced in conjunction with Grammy U and hosted in Loyola University College of Music’s Recording Studio A, these performances will have an intimate live audience as well as a larger online audience thanks to Amazing TV.

The first event in the series launched on November 16th and featured the Seratones and  Music Indusrtry student-Rocky Leonard.

Argentina  Summer  Study Abroad Program directed by Professor Ty Lawson

The Loyola Buenos Aires Culture and Communication Study Abroad Program will offer students a chance to examine various theoretical perspectives through a cultural lens with Buenos Aires serving as a vibrant cultural backdrop for the study of culture and communication through media, music, and philosophy. Students participate in a highly interactive format that involves readings, presentations, research, and excursions. At the end of the course, students will appreciate the variety of ways that culture and communication are infused in Buenos Aires society while integrating these practices into their unique cultural communities.
