Lydia Artymiw, pianist, will be giving a Masterclass to several undergraduate singer/pianist teams this Thursday March 14th, at 1:45 in Nunemaker Hall.
Students of Ellen Frohnmayer and Dr. Brian Hsu will be performing for Ms. Artymiw, who teaches at the University of Minnesota and Juilliard. Last Saturday Ms. Artymiw played the Franck concerto with the Minnesota Orchestra, and her recording of Mendelssohn with cellist Marcy Rosen was nominated this year for a Grammy. She continues a long international career, both playing and teaching.
The class is free and open to the public.
