At 7:00 p.m. in Roussel Hall, master avant garde drummer Paul F. Murphy and renowned bebop pianist Larry Willis will perform a totally improvised concert, "Liberation!" Dominic Fragman and Sybol Anderson open with an interactive lecture connecting social and political issues of contemporary concern with the themes of improvisation, innovation, liberation, and progress. The program features guest performances by Fragman (drums) and poet laureate Jere Carroll.
