At Loyola's Department of Music Industry Studies, you'll explore the business of music in one of the world's great cultural capitals. With our state-of-the-art facilities, industry-recognized and Grammy®-winning faculty, and comprehensive curriculum, you’ll learn exactly how each component of the entertainment industry works, and gain practical, hands-on experience with the latest industry technology and practices.
Since our humble beginnings in 2001, we've grown to become a destination program for students from across the country. Alumni of our programs include international rap superstar G-Eazy, Grammy® award winner Woods Drinkwater, and CAA Marketing Executive Lucy Kozak, as well as current employees of Google, Apple, Warner Music Group, Sony Music, Def Jam Recordings, Universal Music, and HBO.
Currently, we offer four (4) specialized undergraduate degree programs and two (2) minors blending industry knowledge, technology, and creativity:
