Scott, who teaches advertising at Loyola, brought Tillie Freed, Angel Martinez, Kamryn Owens and Lucas Pryor-Alcantar to the conference, where the students heard from leaders in marketing, advertising, media and technology, who shared ideas, discussed issues and recognized the latest innovations moving the industry forward.
Scott said she had several key takeaways from the conference, including the understanding that Artificial Intelligence is not to be feared, not embraced; one should own and create one’s narrative; one should establish one’s own terms of engagement; and, the media has the power to shift perception.
