Office Manager, School of Communication and Design
Kate Lintott is the new office manager for the school of Communication & Design.
Before accepting the position, she worked for LSU/SDMI training contact tracers and resource coordinators in Louisiana’s effort to fight COVID 19. Prior to the pandemic, she worked at a local archaeological firm for over 20 years: spending 10 years in the field in the Southeastern US excavating prehistoric village sites and historic plantation sites, then 10+ years as the office manager. As the office manager she facilitated billing, managed timesheets, prepared field equipment and generally filled the role of “knowledge holder and question answerer”.
Kate was born in the UK and moved to the US in 1986. She graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology from Texas Tech University in 1996. She has lived in the Lower 9th Ward since 2005, with her husband, children, and dogs.
