Jill Boatright arrived at Loyola University New Orleans' Career Development Center in 2012 and currently serves as the Director for Career Development. A Virginia native, Jill received both her B.A. in Sociology and Foreign Affairs and her M.Ed. in Higher Education from the University of Virginia.

Prior to Loyola, Jill worked in various capacities at the career centers at the University of Virginia and Mercer University. With more than 8 years of experience in career services, she has worked with students across all disciplines providing comprehensive guidance on all aspects of career development including career exploration and assessment, job and internship search, resume and cover letter development, interviewing strategies and techniques, networking for employment, and graduate and professional school application. Jill is skilled at leading career-related workshops and presentations and has served as an adjunct instructor for senior level courses focused on preparing students to successfully navigate the transition from college to the world of work. She is certified in various career assessments including the Strong Interest Inventory and Myers Briggs Type Indicator.
