TIM KAPPELExtraordinary Professor, Entertainment Law
Tim Kappel represents a diverse set of music industry clients, including artists, songwriters, musicians, producers, managers, publishers, and independent record labels. As counsel to the law firm Farmer Purcell White & Lassiter, PLLC, he focuses primarily in the areas of entertainment and intellectual property law.
In addition to his entertainment practice, Tim represents technology start-ups and other small businesses in connection with their intellectual property and branding needs, and is frequently consulted on the legal issues involved with crowdfunding in the creative industries. Currently, he divides his time between Farmer Purcell's Nashville office and New Orleans, where he is Extraordinary Professor of Entertainment Law at Loyola University New Orleans.
