Elizabeth Argus has spent more than three decades as one of the best known theatrical performers and music teachers in New Orleans, recognized for excellence in her work as a singer, actress, dancer, choreographer, director, teacher, and voice talent.

Ms. Argus is a multiple Big Easy Theatrical Award winner, performing more than thirty starring and featured roles at Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre, the old True Brew Theatre, Le Chat Noir, Southern Repertory Theatre, Le Petit Théâtre Du Vieux Carré, Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts, the Loyola Ballet, Jefferson Performing Arts Society, Tulane’s Patchwork Players, and Komenka Ethnic Dance Ensemble, as well as a guest soloist with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. She also appeared with the Utah Shakespeare Festival, and was a founding associate artist of the Tulane Summer Shakespeare Festival. For the last 15 years, Ms. Argus directed the music program at Cabrini High School in New Orleans, specializing in teaching fine arts, choral performance, theatre, and AP Music Theory.

Elizabeth holds a B.F.A. in Music/Vocal Performance from the Newcomb College of Tulane University, and an M.F.A. in Musical Theatre, Choreography, and Music Analysis from Tulane University.
