The Ernest Ferlita, S.J. Drama Award
This award is presented to an outstanding non-major for their contribution to Loyola University Theatre. The award recognizes devotion and commitment to the creative process as exemplified by Ernest Ferlita, S.J. The selection is made on the basis of academic achievement, community service, and creativity. The award is named after Ernest Ferlita, S.J. chairman of the department from 1970 to 1988, who gave generously of his talent and spirit. The award is given when the department deems a non-major has given significant commitment and service to Loyola University Theatre.
Sophia Christilles
Outstanding Achievement in Technical Theatre
This award is funded by an Anonymous Alumni Family for the period of ten years commencing in 2010. The recipient has demonstrated achievement in the technical and design area of the department.
Emma Schillage
The Leo Zinser Drama Award
This award is presented annually to the outstanding junior or senior of the Theatre Arts and Dance Department. The selection is made on the basis of academic achievement, community service, and creativity. The award is named after the founder and first chairman of the department.
