Olga Ljungholm was born in Moscow, Russia, where she started studying piano at the age of 5. She graduated from the world-famous Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music with a Master’s degree. After graduation, while residing in Moscow, she embarked on a career of performing and teaching. In 2000, Olga immigrated to the United States and settled in Connecticut where she found employment as a church musician at Bethany Covenant Church, Berlin CT. She held the position of a Minister of Music and was the Director of Bethany Music Series from 2002 – 2015. Within the Bethany Music Series Olga performed piano and organ recitals and directed choirs of all ages. In 2015, she moved to Louisiana with her family and presently is enjoying becoming part of the wonderful music community of New Orleans. She is an accompanist at Loyola University and at Xavier University. She also serves as the organist at the St. Charles Avenue Baptist Church. Olga is a member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) and a piano/ organ performer at different venues in New Orleans area.
