Piano instructor Lauren Lewandowski graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy. After graduating, she returned to Loyola received a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance.

A well-known piano instructor in the New Orleans area, Lauren has been a member of the New Orleans Music Teachers Association (NOMTA) since 2006. She is a certified teacher of piano by both the Music Teachers National Association and the Louisiana Music Teachers Association (LMTA). She also is a former president of NOMTA and a former co-chair of NOMTA’s Romantic and Contemporary Piano Auditions. Currently, Lauren serves as Vice President of Publicity for LMTA.

Lauren is the author of Ready for Theory, a comprehensive music workbook series. Each workbook includes music theory, ear training, terms, forms, history, and keyboard skills. Lauren also actively writes teaching tips and reviews music products on her blog, Piano With Lauren.
