THE BUSINESS TRACK

Introduced to the Music Industry Studies (BS) degree program in 2016, the Business Track enables students to pursue a specific area of business expertise through courses from Loyola University's College of Business.

Students can choose from six (6) business tracks: accounting, business administration, business analytics, economics, entrepreneurship, or marketing. Each track consists of four (4) courses, each worth three (3) credit hours.

If Music Industry Studies students complete three (3) business courses in addition to the business track, they will earn a minor in that track. Students can easily accomplish this by using three general electives for business courses - meaning students can earn a minor without having to take extra coursework outside of the degree program.
