About The Revivalists
Since forming in 2007, the New Orleans roots-driven rock band The Revivalists have logged countless miles on the road, cultivating a high octane live show and a studio presence equally steeped in instrumental virtuosity and charismatic vocal magnetism. The seven-piece band, which features David Shaw (vocals), Zack Feinberg (guitar), Ed Williams (pedal steel guitar), Rob Ingraham (saxophone), George Gekas (bass), Andrew Campanelli (drums), and Michael Girardot (keys, trumpets), have achieved considerable commercial and critical success in their journey so far.
The band issued two independent releases, Vital Signs in 2010 and City of Sound in 2014, and in 2015 released their third full-length album, Men Amongst Mountains, through Wind-Up Records. Recorded live on tape in just twenty-one (21) days at the iconic Studio in the Country in Bogalusa, LA, Men Amongst Mountains debuted at #2 on the Billboard Alternative Albums Chart and Top 10 on the iTunes Alternative Albums Chart, all while quickly racking up nearly two million plays on Spotify through word of mouth. The Revivalists subsequently were profiled in Rolling Stone, NPR, and Nylon, among others, as they launched a sold-out headline tour across the country.
Through Ed’s show-stopping pedal steel fireworks, Zack's bluesy licks on his fretboard, and Rob and Michael’s horns adding just the right touch of bombast, The Revivalists continue to surprise and delight fans and build their national profile.
