Arts & Entertainment Industry Forum: Frank Nicotera

Frank Nicotera, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel at Milwaukee World Festival Inc., stops by for an interview with Burke Ingraffia (10/27/2014).

About Frank Nicotera

Attorney Frank Nicotera is the current Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and General Counsel of Milwaukee World Festival, Inc., the nonprofit corporation that owns and produces Milwaukee's annual Summerfest, an eleven day festival featuring over 800 acts, 1,000 performances, and an audience of 900,000 fans. Each year, Nicotera reviews almost 1,000 contracts (which unlike other events are generally negotiated on an annual basis), including hundreds of artist agreements and the often outrageous and unusual demands they contain.

Prior to joining Milwaukee World Festival in 2006, Frank served as Chief Deputy City Attorney for the City of New Orleans, and has also worked for Tulane University and the Housing Authority of New Orleans. He earned his J.D. from Tulane University Law School, and is also an accomplished jazz drummer.
