About Deborah Evans
Deborah Evans began working in the music publishing business in 1998 for Beebe Bourne at Bourne Company (“Me and My Shadow,” “Here’s That Rainy Day,” “Unforgettable,” “When You Wish Upon a Star”). Later, she joined The Harry Fox Agency, working in both the synchronization and the mechanical licensing departments. In 2002, Deborah moved to Helene Blue Musique Ltd. as Director of Copyright and Licensing. Deborah later became Director of Publishing for Stray Dog Music.
In 2007, Evans formed Della Music Publishing, which represents artists and songwriters mainly in the hip-hop genre. Since 2009, she has collaborated with Deborah Mannis-Gardner and DMG Clearances to assist artists with clearing music for synchronization and syndication.
Deborah holds a Master’s Degree in Harpsichord Performance from Montclair State University. Prior to her career in music publishing, she spent many years teaching piano and performing.
