About Charissa Nielsen

Los Angeles-based session singer and composer Charissa Nielsen has has sung, produced, or engineered vocals for major motion pictures, television shows, commercials, and more. The vocal contractor for Anchorman 2, Charissa as also appeared on Desperate Housewives, where she sang with actress Marcia Cross. Her vocal compositions can also be heard on America's Next Top Model, Third Watch, and Jack and Jill, and in national ad campaigns for Burger King, UPS, Hanes, Old Navy, Nationwide Insurance, Comcast, and more.

An alum of Loyola's Music Therapy program, Charissa has shared the studio or stage with Jamie Cullum, Leonard Cohen, Michael Buble, Perry Farrell, Colin Hay, and Seth Macfarlane. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA, and continues to be a licensed music therapist.

About Dana Nielsen

Grammy-nominated mixer, engineer, producer, and saxophonist Dana Nielsen has worked with some of the biggest stars in the music industry. Nielsen’s work can be heard on albums by artists such as System of a Down, Bob Dylan, Linkin Park, Weezer, Neil Young, Adele, and Rihanna, and worked as an engineer on Kanye West’s Yeezus. Legendary producer Rick Rubin has frequently tapped Dana’s skills for various projects, including Justin Timberlake’s FutureSex/LoveSounds, and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Stadium Arcadium. In 2008, he mixed Neil Diamond’s #1 selling album, Home Before Dark, and in 2013 Nielsen worked as an engineer on Black Sabbath’s Rick Rubin-produced 13, the band’s first album to top the UK charts in 43 years.

Nielsen also frequently works with music for picture, and has produced, recorded, and mixed a number of film scores and soundtracks, including Anchorman 2 and Better Living Through Chemistry. As a composer, saxophonist, singer, and programmer, Nielsen’s own music can be heard on television commercials and hit shows including America’s Next Top Model.
