Zachary is an audio engineer, music instructor, and music technologist with a variety of experience in live sound installations, percussion, recording, and electro-acoustic music. Since 2015, Zachary has worked as an event technician for PSAV Presentation Services, where he provides audio/video technical support for hotels and conferences in the New Orleans region.
From 2011 to 2013, Zachary worked as a graduate teaching assistant at Georgia Southern University, where he instructed students in digital audio and advanced MIDI sequencing. Since 2013, Zachary has worked a graduate teaching assistant at Louisiana State University, where he has instructed students in computer music and managed the university’s recording studio and production facilities. He also performed sound engineering and programming for the LSU Digital Media Center Theatre and Meyer Sound D-Mitri digital audio platform.
Zachary graduated from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces with a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance, and earned his Master in Music in Music Technology from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. He earned his Ph.D. in Experimental Music and Digital Media from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
